LSSU students majoring in computer studies and mathematics can often be seen frequenting one of several departmental computer labs in CASET Hall.
 


ABOUT MATHEMATICS AND COMPUTER SCIENCE

     The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science offers baccalaureate degree programs in mathematics and computer science that are designed to prepare graduates for professional careers, and also to provide them with the background needed to pursue further study in graduate Department.

     The Department also offers computer-related associate's degrees, designed to prepare graduates for employment in technologically challenging positions in business and industry.

     Finally, the Department provides important foundational support in mathematics and computer science to the various academic programs offered within other units of the University.
