CS281 Network Design and Implementation 3 Credits

An introduction to network design and implementation, network databases, and route and bridge applications over LAN configurations with emphasis in managing multiple networks, remote servers, and client-server operations. Topics in customizing LAN workstations, in how to monitor network activity, and in performing systems upgrades are included. Prerequisite: CS101 and CS105.
