MA207 Principles of Statistical Methods 3 Credits

Descriptive statistics, probability distributions (including normal, binomial and chi-square), techniques of statistical inference including tests of hypotheses and selected nonparametric tests. (This courses a survey of elementary statistical concepts.) Prerequisite: Completion of mathematics competency graduation requirement. This course will not count toward a major in mathematics.
